The controversy is far from over: Juan Tagle responds to Sebastián Miranda for the health of Martín Parra

After the serious attack suffered by the goalkeeper of the University of Chile, Martín Parra, in the university classic for the quarterfinal of the Chile Cup, he continues to speak.

Blues coach Sebastian Miranda made his opinion known at a press conference, noting that he was disappointed with the Crusaders’ actions.

“I was expecting a different reaction from Universidad Católica, no one came to the stadium to ask regarding Martín Parra,” said the U. de Chile coach.

The sayings reached the president of the Catholic University, Juan Tagle, who responded to the blue coach through social networks.

“I’m sorry that the DT was not well informed, but the first thing we did together with the Sports Manager when the game ended was to go to the visiting dressing room to ask regarding Martín’s condition and we were there until they took him from the stadium”, manifested.

However, Universidad de Chile responded to the president of Universidad Católica through Twitter.

“Mr. Tagle, if you were near our locker room, it was when you stood outside the umpires’ door. We saw him, but he did not ask our president, Gte, regarding Martín. General, Gte. Deportivo or DT, who often passed by his side. His concern did not reach the campus, ”they wrote.

Given this, Universidad Católica did not want to remain silent since it responded to the blues through social networks.

“Enough of so much misrepresentation and inaccuracies. Indeed, our President went to the door of the dressing room with our Gte. Deportivo and asked several members of the staff regarding the player’s health. They remained there until Martín Parra was taken away,” they pointed out.

“They never saw the referees, they did ask to speak with the president of U. de Chile, but he did not leave the dressing room. We close this poor controversy with his institutional account. Each one will draw their conclusions and what objectives they pursue behind these actions”, concluded the UC.
