Spokesperson for the Constitutional Court (MK) Fajar Laksono said that his party had received all the application files for a lawsuit over the 2024 election results from the Amin National Team. He also confirmed that the registration of the lawsuit alleging election fraud filed by Amin’s Legal Team was also entered in the early hours of this morning.
“Yes. The presidential election was entered from 01. It was entered earlier. Submission of applications online last night, early morning. Just keep coming. “In the presidential election there are no improvements (stages) so we just have to wait for registration,” said Fajar at the Constitutional Court Building, Central Jakarta, Thursday (21/3).
Fajar also said that so far none of the participants in the legislative elections (pileg) have registered a lawsuit with the Constitutional Court. Informally, there are political parties who come to the Constitutional Court to ask for an explanation regarding the mechanism for filing a lawsuit.
“Last night there was, someone already came. As for the party, I don’t know yet. Last night someone wanted to register but didn’t bring anything. “The provisions are that when filing a case you must bring the petition, the applicant’s identity, his or her identity, whether he or she is the proxy, the principal, this doesn’t bring anything,” said Fajar.
“So last night, we switched it to a consultation service to find out. That last night. That’s for legislative elections. I don’t know where it came from. “I’ll check with the consultation service later,” he added.
It is known, in accordance with the stages determined by the Constitutional Court, presidential election participants are given 3 days from the time of the KPU’s official announcement if they wish to register a lawsuit. Meanwhile, for legislative election participants, participants are given 3 x 24 hours to register their application with the Constitutional Court. (Z-10)
