Turn off automatic downloads
Most of us are used to seeing the multimedia content already downloaded, but it is possible to configure it to do it manually. This way you can save data and also storage. Next, we are going to see how to do it:

Once the feature is activated, all new individual (or group) chats that you or someone else create will be set to disappear after a certain amount of time, automatically, thus avoiding data accumulation.
Delete WhatsApp cache
The cache on your phone saves files that could be useful in the future, but certainly in most cases it’s just to fill space. The WhatsApp application may be taking up a considerable amount of memory in this section, so you can delete it.
