“The Concept of Reproductive Health” in a symposium at the Nagaa Hammadi Media Complex

The Nagaa Hammadi Media Complex, affiliated to the State Information Service, organized a symposium on the concept of reproductive health, the duty of parents towards their children, and urging them to raise them in a sound religious and healthy upbringing.

Dr. Dina Mahmoud Qassem, assistant family planning specialist at Nagaa Hammadi Hospital, delivered a speech in which she spoke regarding the importance of family planning to society and the mother’s protection for her children.

She defined the concept of reproductive health, and how the family is free from diseases and spacing during pregnancy.

Dr. Dina continued her speech, defining a set of important points, including the need for medical consultation in the health unit, which the state provides to families in all villages, and the use of family planning methods that are available for free. She stressed that the concept of reproductive health is achieving health and social care, and focusing on spacing between pregnancies. Not to marry minors under the age of 18, and that safe motherhood reduces the death rate.

This symposium comes within the activities of the Nagaa Hammadi Media Complex and educating the public regarding what benefits it in various health and social fields.
