The complete story of a confessed fraud that began two months after Ayuso’s courtship | Madrid News

The beginning of a relationship. The exclusive regarding the Madrid president’s romance was given by the magazine Readings on May 26, 2021, accompanied by some photos of her and her new partner walking by the sea in Ibiza. Ayuso had swept the elections three weeks earlier. His partner, the “sanitary technician” Alberto González Amador, had multiplied his income by six the previous year. And in July, the time came to justify his large profits to the Treasury. Then, when they were already dating, González presented some apparently fake accounts, which involved an alleged tax crime of 350,951.41 euros and which has been known following a publication of eldiario.es Last Tuesday. Another alleged health fraud originating in Ayuso’s family environment.

The president responded this Wednesday at a press conference that the events occurred before the courtship and it is not true. The reality is that the problems for González began two months following starting her relationship with Ayuso, in July 2021, during the Corporate Tax presentation campaign for the previous year. Weeks later, the Treasury pulls the plug. The chronology of this case can be told in four stages:

1. The ball

Like several scandals in recent years, the origin lies in a mask contract when the coronavirus pandemic breaks out. González acted as a commission agent, as did others in those times of extreme need. The extraordinary thing is that, according to his version, he moved before anyone else.

According to his story before the Treasury, he got to work in January 2020, two months before the serious health crisis in Spain, but this point has been denied to this newspaper by the two Spanish businessmen with whom he collaborated, the Catalan company FCS Select Products SL and the Galician Mape Asesores SA.

What affects the most is what happens closest. So you don’t miss anything, subscribe.

González has assured that they held meetings and video conferences that ended with a deal on January 25, with him present in New York along with another intermediary company, based in Florida. But FCS and Mape say there were no contacts until March, when the urgency to find masks arose. Furthermore, the two companies were unaware of the participation of the alleged American firm, IHD Inteconn, whose name does not even appear in the official company registry of the State of Florida.

What is real, say the other businessmen, is that González agreed on a 4.5% commission with FCS, with a presence in China, to find clients to sell medical supplies to. And González found a big buyer, the healthcare importer Mape, who bought merchandise to resell to Spanish companies and administrations. The Galician company made two acquisitions from FCS for 45 million euros: on May 5 and August 5. That business brought the Ayuso partner’s Maxwell Cremona company 1.9 million euros, almost all of the 2.3 million it earned in 2020.

González’s bonanza continued in 2021. That year his main client was the Quirón group, where he previously worked as an external consultant. His company Maxwell Cremona had a turnover of 1.3 million euros and a second company acquired that year by González, Masterman & Whitaker, earned 327,000 euros.

Despite such high income, González barely paid the Treasury. For the 2020 financial year, the Tax Agency returned 1,353 euros to his company Maxwell. And for 2021, he only paid 7,029 euros. That insignificant tax bill had a trick. The eyes of the inspectors were placed on the statements. On May 12, 2022, the Tax Agency alarms went off.

2. The cooperators

The Prosecutor’s Office has not only denounced the Madrid president’s partner. The prosecutor’s office has also put its magnifying glass on four other people: three Sevillians and an alleged Mexican businessman. They are all part of this network with which González Amador, Ayuso’s boyfriend, sought to reduce his taxes.

Sevillians are between 34 and 55 years old. The three live in Arahal, almost door to door, in a municipality of 20,000 residents 45 minutes by car from the Andalusian capital. The president’s partner received false or falsified invoices from six companies in said town for 180,395 euros.

David Herrera Lobato runs a management company in the town with 18 companies in his name. And the brothers José Miguel Carrillo, waiter, and Agustín Carrillo, baker, six others.

“How am I going to get to know a guy from Madrid? How am I going to get to know Alberto?” manager Herrera explained to this newspaper last Wednesday. “My company has collapsed because a tax inspector has thrown invoices back, but this is a very normal thing to do. “I will defend myself in the Prosecutor’s Office.” He claimed that the connection with Ayuso’s boyfriend came from a “middle position” at a Quirón Hospital in Seville, and that this employee, whose name he does not remember precisely, had asked him for invoices for a series of jobs at the center. sanitary.

The manager Herrera has 18 companies, according to the Commercial Registry. Of these, Púrpura Star SL is dedicated to the manufacture, advice and installation of photovoltaic products and panels. One of the Ayuso couple’s companies received four allegedly false invoices in 2021 from Púrpura Star SL for an amount of 12,800 euros each, which adds up to 51,200 euros. That same year, fictitious invoices for an amount totaling 66,000 euros would have been falsely deducted from the company Bianconera de Servicios Profesionales SL, also owned by Herrera.

In the case of the Carrillo brothers, the connection would be as follows: José Miguel created the company Bianconera Spa Sociedad Limitada on June 16, 2021. This company provided fictitious services for an amount of 10,500 euros. Agustín, the other brother, currently has seven companies. And the president’s boyfriend would have improperly deducted 52,695 euros from three of them. José Miguel assures that he has not received a penny of anything. That it was his neighbor, the manager Herrera, who created these companies. He doesn’t know how this might have happened. He also doesn’t know Ayuso’s partner at all. “I am not a terrorist or a politician,” he assured on Tuesday at the door of his house. “I’m going to meet that man [la pareja de Ayuso]. What I needed. She thought she was single.”

The fourth accused is an alleged Mexican businessman named Maximiliano Eduardo Niederer who resides in Madrid. Niederer has five companies in Spain located in the Retiro district. However, the Prosecutor’s Office points to two who are outside Spain. One in Mexico, Mke Manufacturing SA, and another in Costa Rica, Gayani Ltd.

According to the Prosecutor’s complaint, Ayuso’s boyfriend deducted 620,000 euros for some invoices issued by the Mexican company. “And he did not perform any service or work,” the report states. He did the same thing in 2021, but with the Costa Rican company for an amount of 922,585.63 euros.

The other supposedly fraudulent mechanism that the inspectors detect is the use of a shell company by Ayuso’s partner. González “illicitly” located part of his 2021 income in his newly acquired company Masterman & Whitaker, for the purpose of tax savings. The researchers found out that these services, to Chiron, were actually provided by Maxwell because the new company did not have material means.

3. March 12, the case breaks out

The Tax Agency, which had already begun to investigate these alleged frauds on May 12, 2022, closes its file on January 22, 2024. It proposes that the Prosecutor’s Office denounce Ayuso’s partner and the other four involved because the amount defrauded exceeds 120,000 euros, which constitutes a crime of tax fraud.

Eleven days later, on February 2 of this year, the Prosecutor’s Office received an email from the lawyer of the Madrid president’s boyfriend, where he acknowledged “the facts in their entirety.” The Prosecutor’s Office takes note.

On February 13, the Prosecutor’s Office formulated its complaint and on the 20th it was sent to the courts of Plaza de Castilla. On March 12, this Tuesday at six in the morning, the case broke out when eldiario.es breaks the news. At 8:50, the prosecutor sends the complaint by mail to the lawyer to facilitate his right of defense and reiterates, as he already did on February 13, that there would be no obstacles to reaching an agreement.

4. Ayuso’s reaction: victim of a plot

After hearing the news, the Madrid president tries to confuse public opinion with the dates of her courtship. “I want to clarify, that [esto] “It sticks to a stage in his life, that of this individual, when we were not even a couple.” However, they were.

He attributes the complaint and the tax inspection to a persecution “by all the powers of the State”, with phrases such as: “It is a wild and crazy tax inspection.” “Yes, following a lifetime of working, this person [su pareja] He has assets and can afford to buy a house, a car or seven, as long as it is legal, as long as everything is in A, as long as it is before a notary, I am free to get in that car or get into that bed.” “They seek to destabilize me through my personal destruction.” “Pedro Sánchez is sitting in political and economic corruption and this is not going to cover it up,” justifies the president.

Hours later, the president’s team changes the script. It seeks to confuse public opinion once more with Tuesday’s email from the Prosecutor’s Office, which ends up leaking to related media. It is implied that the Prosecutor’s Office itself has waited for the news to be published to propose an agreement and thus harm the president and her partner. However, the message was the last in the chain of emails between both parties that had begun on February 2 by the lawyer for Ayuso’s couple. To ratify an agreement of this type—very common among tax fraud crimes—it is necessary to file a complaint and have it admitted by the judge.

Since Wednesday, Ayuso has not responded to the press and his chief of staff, Miguel Ángel Rodríguez, has taken control of the responses. This Thursday, at eight in the followingnoon, he continued with the polarizing strategy in his X profile: “They can’t kill Díaz Ayuso!! We like fruit!!!”
