If anyone still remembers In late July, the Half-Life community held an event to bring players back into the game once more.
And it looks like it will succeed. because when the day comes The entire community of players logged in to the original Half-Life (1998) on Steam, bringing the total number of players up to 12,000.
This fan event is #RememberFreeman. Participants must be logged into the original version of the game on Steam and must have been in the game for 30 minutes or more. The event started on August 14.
Before this event The game has a record of the highest number of players at 6,022 people and following the end of this event As a result, the game’s total number of players rose to 12,280. Clearly, this community activity was quite successful. With up to 2x higher player count (according to SteamDB.com)
Once once more, the community breaks a record! Congratulations to everyone! And a special thanks to @noclicksforme and all the rest of the team for making this a success!

Objectives of this activity Just to remind the fans of the game. And it might make the developers foresee that there are still fans who are interested in and love Half-Life, even following a long time has passed, and hopefully Valve will see it and allow us to see the new game soon. today
