Meghan Markle and Prince Harry inaugurated the Undefeated Games, which will be held until April 22 in The Hague, the Netherlands. The sports competition that Harry himself founded in 2014 in tribute to war veterans.
Two young Dutch reporters had the opportunity to interview Prince Harry on his way to the competition. Sophia and Jay asked him what his biggest wish is for his son. Archieaged, and her daughter Lilibeth Diana, 10 months.
“Growing up in a better world. Grow up in a fairer world, a safer worlda more equitable world. It won’t be easy, but never I will never, ever rest until I, as a parent, have at least tried to make the world a better place.”, indicated the Duke of Sussex.
“It is our responsibility that the world be as it is now. I don’t think we should bring children into the world unless we commit to making it better for them. We cannot steal their future.”
The interview ended with a big hug from Prince Harry to the young reporters, whom he praised for their interview: “Well done, guys,” he told them.
Prince Harry y Meghan celebrated Easter by watching various sporting events at the Invictus Games on Sunday, including volleyball and archery. In 2014, Harry, who served a decade in the British Army and two tours in Afghanistan, was inspired to create the Invictus Games, a Paralympic-style competitive event that showcases the invincible spirit of wounded, ill and injured men and women.
The Invictus Games were previously held in London in 2014, Orlando in 2016, Toronto in 2017 and Sydney in 2018. They will then be held in Düsseldorf, Germany in 2023. This edition will also be remembered for the secret visit they previously made to Queen Elizabeth II at Windsor Castle, two years after the couple stepped down from their royal duties and moved to Montecito, California.
