Brigadier General Jacky Cabo, Force Commander of the EUTM-RCA mission, was decorated Commander in the National Order of Recognition on July 6, 2022 by the President of the Republic, Faustin Archange Touadéra.
After five months of service in the CAR, the Force Commander of the EUTM-RCA mission has worked for the reconstruction and the rise in power of the Central African Armed Forces (FACA). Under his leadership, the EUTM-RCA mission contributed to improving the capacity of the FACA, enabling them to face the security challenges facing the Central African Republic.
It is to show the gratitude of the Central African people for the services rendered within the framework of his mission that Faustin Archange Touadera awarded Brigadier General Jacky Cabo the tie of Commander in the National Order of Recognition.
“Allow me to thank you Mr. President for the honor you have done me by awarding me this honorary distinction at the end of a mission of only 5 months in the Central African Republic. I feel a lot of pride and it’s a moment that I will not soon forget, “said the recipient
He let it be known that he tried to bring, within the framework of his mandate, support to the FACA both at the level of the pillar of strategic advice, and of the pillar of education. He is pleased with the result obtained by his team with the resumption of classes at Camp Kassaï and the training in 2 months of more than 100 soldiers in areas such as: project management, topography, Human Resources, transmissions and first aid.
