In order to verify the impact of cheese on cognitive functions, researchers conducted interviews with 1,500 adult volunteers over the age of 65. But how can we explain the benefits of cheese on the brain? Researchers have several avenues that still need to be explored through more in-depth studies. Experts have found that cheese consumers also often have a more diversified diet than others and this can contribute to their good cognitive health. They also assume that cheese may contain potent nutrients.tially beneficial for the brain. “In the future, a large-scale longitudinal analysis will be necessary to elucidate the cause and effect relationship,” the scientists conclude, however.
