Jan. 30—A search is underway for a man who fell from a small boat Saturday night off the Keys, according to authorities.
Erik Rundle was last seen around sunset on a capsized boat in Man of War Harbor, located west of Fleming Key, the US Coast Guard said on Twitter.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is assisting with the search and rescue operation for the man they believe to be in his 40s.
“We are assisting the US Coast Guard and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission in trying to locate him,” sheriff’s spokesman Adam Linhardt said Sunday afternoon.
Anyone with information on Rundle’s whereabouts is asked to call the Coast Guard at 305-292-8727.
