Baghdad – Anatolia – Steve Warren, a spokesman for the international coalition led by the United States of America once morest ISIS, expected that the battle to recapture the city of Mosul, the center of Nineveh Governorate, in northern Iraq, from the organization would be “difficult, bloody and long.”
This came in a press conference held yesterday at the US Embassy, in the center of the capital, Baghdad.
Warren said, “The coalition expects the presence of 5 to 8 thousand members (whose nationalities were not mentioned) of ISIS in Mosul.”
While he expected “difficult and bloody” to recover Mosul from the organization, he stressed that the Iraqi forces “will achieve victory over ISIS, thanks to the training and military equipment that was provided to them.”
