The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced, on Wednesday, the implementation of air strikes on legitimate military targets in response to the Houthi militia threat with drones from Sanaa.
The coalition added that the air strikes resulted in the destruction of two workshops for assembling and booby-trapping drones in the 1st Armored Division camp, in addition to two stores of drones in Dabouh camp.
The coalition also affirmed taking preventive measures to spare civilians and civilian objects from collateral damage.
Simultaneously, field sources reported to “Al-Arabiya” and “Al-Hadath” that the fighters of the coalition to support legitimacy in Yemen destroyed the Houthi militia’s reinforcements and fortifications in separate locations from the southern front of the Ma’rib governorate.

The sources added that three simultaneous air raids destroyed an armored vehicle and three Houthi military crews in the eastern Jabal al-Balaq and the desert surrounding the Laza Mountains, which the National Army was able to liberate yesterday.
The sources indicated that a meeting of Houthi leaders was targeted in one of those raids, as a result of which the field commander of the Houthi Southern Front was killed.
The coalition had called on civilians not to gather or approach the targeted sites, according to tweets published by the Saudi Press Agency account “SPA” on “Twitter”.
The coalition said its operations are in accordance with international humanitarian law and its customary rules.
This development comes following the coalition forces to support legitimacy in Yemen announced the interception and destruction of a drone in Yemeni airspace, launched by the Iran-backed Houthi militia towards Saudi territory.
The coalition stated that the drone was launched from the capital, Sana’a, to target civilians.
