The coalition deals severe blows to the Houthis in Hajjah and Marib

The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced the implementation of air strikes once morest the Houthi militia in several Yemeni governorates, in response to its recent threats, at a time when fierce battles continued in the city of Haradh, amid reports of the killing of prominent Houthi leaders.

In a statement, the coalition said that it carried out 25 targeting operations once morest militias in Hajjah and Marib governorates within 24 hours. The operations resulted in the destruction of 17 military vehicles and casualties among the Houthi militias.

The coalition had announced a military operation in Sana’a in response to the threats, and during the first hour of the morning, it bombed military sites on Airport Street in Sana’a and the Al-Sabah camp, west of the capital.

In a previous statement, the coalition announced qualitative advances for the Happy Yemen Brigades, following the start of operations at dawn yesterday, Friday, in Saada Governorate. The coalition indicated that the Happy Yemen Brigades were equipped and supported by the coalition in coordination with the Yemeni Ministry of Defense. On Friday, the forces of Happy Yemen launched a large and surprising military operation in Saada Governorate, in the north of the country, backed by air strikes carried out by coalition warplanes.

Yesterday, Saturday, the battles intensified between the forces of the “Happy Yemen Brigades” and the forces of the Fifth Military Region on the one hand, and the terrorist Houthi militia on the other, in the east, south and west of the city of Haradh in the Hajjah governorate border with Saudi Arabia.

Field sources stated that the Houthi militia members who were besieged in the city center fled from the Wadi Salman area in Haradh, following the strikes of the forces and the raids of the coalition fighters. The pursuit of the Houthis inside the city’s neighborhoods continues.

The sources reported that the forces, backed by Apache fighters and helicopters of the coalition, thwarted several infiltration attempts by the Houthis, from the “Hawthala” side, with the aim of breaking the siege on their members in the heart of the city of Haradh. Where huge losses were incurred.

The forces participating in the liberation of Haradh had reinforced their positions with more reinforcements and combat mechanisms for incursions and fighting cities, as well as strengthening their positions in the vicinity of Haradh, to prevent any attempts by the militias to advance towards Haradh.

During the battles of Haradh, 8 Houthi leaders were killed. The (Yemen) news channel quoted a military source in the Fifth Military Region as saying: “The Arab coalition fighters targeted reinforcements and sites belonging to the Houthi group in the center, south and east of the city of Haradh,” noting that “the coalition fighters launched a raid targeting a Houthi tank in the center of Haradh, and another raid.” It targeted a Houthi group south of Haradh, and a raid targeted Houthi reinforcements east of Al-Hassain, east of Haradh.
