V. Vaitkuviene 25 pcs. shares are due from May 2023. 25 pcs. the shares are also owned by the wife of conservative MP Mindaugas Skritulskas, Ramunea Skritulskiene – she purchased them in February 2022. Another 25 pcs. shares belong to Romos Katinas and the company “Skanėsta”.
“The specified information does not fall within the content of the declared information, since the shares purchased by the spouse (25 units) do not allow to have a decisive influence on the activity of the legal entity you mentioned”, Š.Vaitkus said in the written answers to “LRT.lt”.
Despite this, Virginija Aleksejūnė, a member and deputy chairman of the Supreme Service Ethics Commission (VTEK), told the portal that communications should be declared in cases where, in a reasonable assessment, the person making the declaration can solve issues related to this legal entity in the service.
“In this situation, an important aspect is that the company operates in the territory of the mayor’s office, so there is a possibility that there will be a need to resolve issues regarding this company,” observed V. Aleksejūnė.

Š. Vaitkus said that he added the declarations shortly after the portal’s appeal, because he has nothing to hide.
“So that the public and the media do not have doubts and questions, after consulting with the spouse, we clarified the declarations of assets and private interests. We had and have nothing to hide”, said Š. Vaitkus.
According to the records center, Rota fortuna received 1.46 million in 2023. EUR income, but suffered 90.7 thousand. euro loss.
