The Egyptian Clubs Association issued a statement, on Sunday evening, regarding the riots that occurred before the Al-Ahly and Ismaili match between the fans of the two clubs.
It is scheduled to meet Al-Ahly and Al-Ismaili during the postponed round of the 18th week of the Egyptian We League competition.
The Association of Clubs said in its statement that it had learned through the media that it is between the Al-Ahly and Ismaili fans, and the Association calls on the fans of the two teams to adhere to the spirit of sportsmanship.
The association added that all concerned parties have been informed and all measures will be taken following the meeting.
It is worth noting that there are some videos spread through social media, showing some of the Ismaili fans attacking the bus of some of the Al-Ahly fans.
Al-Ahly is currently in third place in the league table with 63 points, while Al-Ismaili is in tenth place with 36 points.
