The Clippers dominate the Mavericks, Miami offers New Orleans

Thanks to the Kawhi Leonard-Paul George duo, author of 51 points, the Los Angeles Clippers won (112-98) once morest the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday. Luka Doncic, for his part, made a double-double (29 points and 10 rebounds) but his performance was not enough. The contribution of the bench was far too weak (9 points).

However, Jason Kidd’s men were still in the game at the end of the third quarter (79-79). But the last was totally dominated by the Clippers (33-19). Dallas is on its way to its seventh loss in 12 games since the start of 2023 and must find a defensive footing to win once more more regularly.

Back-to-back, Miami received the New Orleans Pelicans, 4th in the West and, like last Thursday (124-98), the Floridians won the confrontation, with a smaller gap this time (100-96 ). The meeting was marked by the long distance clumsiness of the two teams: 8/30 for the Pelicans, 8/34 for the Heat.

Behind at the start of the last quarter (69-72), Erik Spoelstra’s men finally came back to win in the last moments. Five of the two end up with more than ten units. Jimmy Butler settled for 18 points following only taking seven shots. The man of the evening was Tyler Herro, author of 26 points at 10/22.

New Orleans, still deprived of its stars Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram, continues its bad series and now remains on a series of four consecutive losses.
