A rocket belonging to a newly established Chinese space company exploded with a loud explosion on Sunday following accidentally launching into space.

Beijing-based Space Pioneer was conducting a ground test of its Tianlong 3 rocket in central China when the rocket separated from the launch pad and rose into the air.

Space Pioneer said in a statement that the rocket separated from the launch pad due to a technical error in contact with the ground. No one was hurt in the accident.
