The previous two years in the Xuanyuan Award competition, the victory was awarded to two models at once, as they scored the same number of points. In the same year, the standout winner was the L9 hybrid crossover by Li Auto, owned by startup CHJ Automotive, which, in turn, was founded by Nio owner Li Xiang.
The L9 was noted for its excellent operating experience, comfortable cabin, well-thought-out ergonomics for each passenger and an impressive range. The L9 is driven by a gasoline-electric unit with a 1.5-liter internal combustion engine, which is needed to charge the battery. Two electric motors mounted on the front and rear axles are responsible for the rotation of the wheels. The total output of the units reaches 449 horsepower. The range of the hybrid is 1315 kilometers.
