Residents from many places in Taiwan and Hong Kong were lured to Cambodia, Myanmar and other places, and were imprisoned by the fraudulent group, and some were released following paying ransom. The exact number of people who were “sold as piglets” cannot be estimated, but the governments of many places worked hard to rescue them, and some victims began to escape from the fire pit. The Chinese Embassy in Cambodia appealed to the local Taiwanese who were trapped and would try their best to help. However, some Malaysian Chinese who assisted in the rescue revealed that someone in the fraud group acted as an undercover “piggy” in order to obtain a rescue method.

The chairman of the Penang Progressive Party in Malaysia, Huang Jiaye, has been saving Malaysians who were “sold by pigs”. He pointed out that he rescued the victim under the pseudonym “Zhuge Liang” in the KK Park in Myanmar earlier, but following “Zhuge Liang” escaped from the tiger’s mouth, he did not Ken reveals the news of the scam group. Huang Jiaye recently rescued another female victim surnamed Zhou. She pointed out that she and “Zhuge Liang” worked in the same department in the KK Park, but “Zhuge Liang” actually betrayed those who sought help in the park and even lured Malaysians to Myanmar. Huang Jiaye said that many victims were brainwashed in the local area and would rather stay in the local area and continue to help the fraud group, which is chilling.

More and more victims have been deceived into Southeast Asia. A couple surnamed Chen and Liao were introduced by others to work in a fraud computer room in Cambodia early last month. Liao asked her family for help on social networking sites last Thursday. Organs would be forcibly harvested, and Chen Nan was handcuffed for a long time, causing pus from his wrists. After Liao’s family reported the case, the police arrested the suspect who transported the couple to the airport the next day. The suspect confessed to the crime, but the whereregardings of Chen and Liao were still unknown.

Raise the price before paying the ransom

Even if the family is willing to pay the ransom, the scam group will always turn back. A 22-year-old Taiwanese woman was invited by a friend to travel to Thailand. She was supposed to be taken to the KK Park to commit fraud. The woman begged to let her go, and the fraud group asked her family for 1.5 million yuan (NTD, the same below) (regarding 390,000 yuan Hong Kong dollars) ransom, when the woman was sent to the airport in Bangkok, Thailand, the gangsters sat on the ground starting at 2.5 million yuan (651,000 Hong Kong dollars). The woman was afraid that things would change, and immediately ran into the toilet in the departure hall of the airport and called her father for help. With the assistance of the airport tourist police, the woman returned to Taiwan safely at the end of last Wednesday.

Following the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, the Chinese embassy in Cambodia issued an open letter the day before yesterday. The first article directly stated, “Taiwan compatriots are Chinese citizens. If you have any difficulties, please contact the Chinese embassy.” As long as Taiwan compatriots encounter any difficulties on the ground, the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia will, as always, provide timely and efficient consular protection services to all Chinese citizens in Cambodia, including Taiwan compatriots, in accordance with laws and regulations.
