In the last hours the death of the rider was reported Juan Carlos Villarroel Quiroga (RIP)who belonged to the San Felipe Rodeo Association and had just run the North Zone Qualifier of El Convento last weekend with his brother Mauricio.
Juan Carlos, from a corralera family, was a runner with an outstanding career in the huaso sport, reaching the Qualifiers and the National Championship several times. He remembered is the triumph together with Mauricio in the 2019 Chilean Champion, when they won the Second Libre A in Robledal Caminante and Quillaycillo Rebenque. (Ver video).
His wake and subsequent funeral will be informed in a timely manner.
