The chef brothers Berezutsky left the restaurant with two Michelin stars – Twins Garden

The chefs of the Moscow restaurant Twins Garden, twin brothers Ivan and Sergey Berezutsky, no longer work at the establishment. They announced this on social media. “It’s time to move on and grow further,” is how they explained their departure.

“Time is running, everything is changing, the world around us is changing, we ourselves are changing, our goals and desires are changing. Six years ago we dreamed of creating the restaurant that Twins Garden is now. But it’s time to move on and grow further. Today is our last day at Twins Garden. And what’s next? We have a lot of ideas and plans. And when the time comes, we will definitely tell you regarding everything, ”the brothers wrote on social networks.

Ivan and Sergey Berezutsky were co-owners of Twins Garden until 2019, then it was bought by Russian businessman Alexei Repik. The restaurant was one of only two establishments to receive two stars from the world’s most prestigious food guide, Michelin, in 2021.

In 2022, the World Wildlife Fund (World Wildlife Fund or WWF, recognized as a foreign agent) awarded the brothers with a letter of thanks – “for their contribution to the preservation of Russia’s primeval forests.” The chefs were preparing the dessert “Siberia” – when ordering, customers were offered to participate in the fund’s program to protect Russian forests from fires.
