Time change in Poland. Last in 2026?

The time change is regulated by the Prime Minister’s regulation. In 2022, this document was issued for the next 5 years. This means that At least until 2026 the time change will take place in Poland.

The distinction between winter and summer time is used in almost 70 countries around the world, and its impact on humans has been thoroughly studied. It turns out that the time change has negative impact on health and is associated with disruption of sleep patterns. This custom has also been linked to problems with concentration and even an increased risk of heart attack. The European Union decided to abolish the time change, and the last time we were to change the clocks was in 2021. However, the changes did not come into effect due to the outbreak of the pandemic, after which the EU changed its priorities. Since then, the matter has been at a standstill.
