Two days following the appointment of Saleh Kebzabo as prime minister, the entire Chadian government was announced on Friday 14 October. A new team of around forty members has been appointed to tackle this second phase of transition, which is supposed to lead to elections in 24 months. With confirmations, but also entrants who are not, however, new faces for the Chadians.

First of all, there is the return of Mahamat Saleh Annadif to Foreign Affairs, nearly twenty years following leaving them. This seasoned diplomat was the UN special representative for West Africa and the Sahel. Previously, he headed the UN missions in Mali (Minusma) and Somalia (Amisom).

Another striking name, that of Tom Erdimi.
