This morning in Tunis, Mehdi Tazi, General Vice-President of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), proceeded with the Presidents of employers from 25 countries, to the official signing of the statutes establishing the Alliance of Francophone Employers (APF). Chakib Alj, President of the CGEM, was elected Secretary General and member of the executive bureau of the APF.
The APF, an organization designed by the private sectors of these countries, aims to accelerate the flow of business between companies. It also aims to coordinate the action of the most representative professional organizations of each of the member countries and regions, to establish shared diagnoses and make common proposals in favor of shared and sustainable economic growth.

The creation of the Alliance comes six months following the first REF Francophone was held in August 2021 in Paris. This event was attended by a delegation made up of more than 25 Moroccan business leaders from different sectors, led by Chakib Alj, President of the CGEM. The 1st official meeting of the Alliance will also have enabled the launch of 7 working groups and the approval of their axes and expected deliverables.
