Support for the investment of very small, small and medium-sized enterprises (TPME) was at the heart of the discussions on Monday July 17 between the representatives of the Ministry of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies and the main members of the CGEM concerned, including in particular Hakim Marrakchi, Vice-President of the CGEM, Meriem Zairi, President of the Entrepreneurship and VSME Commission, Omar Kabbaj, Director of the Commissions.

“In accordance with the High Royal Guidelines, substantive work continues to be carried out between the government and the private sector to operationalize the new investment charter. Indeed, following the main support mechanism, the strategic support mechanism and in a few days the support mechanism for international companies, it is the turn of the support mechanism for VSMEs to soon see the light of day. “, we learn in this sense. And to specify that “this support system for the investment of VSMEs is one of the priority projects of the Government”.

A wide range of needs specific to VSMEs was thus addressed, with the aim of setting up an investment support system adapted to the different sub-categories of VSMEs, with a tangible impact for Moroccan citizens, particularly for young people and women, in order to instill a new entrepreneurial dynamic in the Kingdom. It should be noted that in order to integrate all the partners and to widen the reflection as much as possible with all the actors concerned by the SME, the Ministry of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies held several working meetings in recent weeks with, in particular, the Ministry of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts and of the Social and Solidarity Economy, the Ministry in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, Maroc PME, the SMIT, the TPME Observatory, the GPBM and the main Moroccan banks.

Other meetings are on the program for the start of the school year in order to share the first results on the TPME device, the last device of the new investment charter. As a reminder, VSMEs represent nearly 90% of the national economic fabric and the largest share of jobs in the Kingdom.
