The Central Bank decided to return the commission for withdrawals from automated teller machines (ATMs) to non-customers of the same bank, starting from the first of July, following 27 months of suspension.

The central bank obligated banks to not exceed the maximum commission for cash withdrawals from ATMs for cards issued by other banks, to be no more than 5 pounds.

The Central Bank also decided to increase the maximum limit for cash withdrawals per transaction to 4,000 pounds from ATMs of other banks that are not affiliated with the customer.

The Central Bank had suspended fees and commissions on digital banking services over a period of 27 months since March 2020, which witnessed the beginning of the emergence of the Corona pandemic, and the decision was extended 5 times, to end on June 30.
