The Central Bank of Russia announced Friday to reauthorize from April 18 the sale of currencies, suspended at the beginning of March.
Russian banks “will again be able to sell foreign currency in cash to citizens from April 18, 2022,” the Central Bank said in a statement.
Only currencies received by banks from April 9 can be sold, explains the same source.
The sale of currencies was suspended in Russia on March 9 by the Central Bank.
