The Casablanca Stock Exchange closes in the green

Stock Exchange (Casablanca) – The Casablanca Stock Exchange closed in the green on Tuesday, the index of all values, the MASI, gaining 0.45% to 10,918.63 points (pts).

The MSI 20, an index grouping the 20 most liquid stocks, gained 0.38% to 876.41 pts, while the Casablanca ESG 10, thematic index which calculates the performance of the prices of socially responsible companies, gave up 0.09. % at 816.15 pts.

On the international side, the FTSE CSE Morocco All-Liquid rose by 0.41% to 9,123.47 pts and the FTSE CSE Morocco 15 strengthened by 0.36% to 9,955.14 pts.

At the sector level, the index of portfolio-holding companies showed the strongest increase (+3.95%), ahead of agrifood/production (+3.89%) and engineering and construction goods. industrial equipment (+2.82%).

The leisure and hotel index showed the largest drop (-4.32%), followed by the mining index (-1.77%), and chemicals (-1.6%).

For this day, the overall volume of trade was 91.79 million dirhams (MDH), carried out mainly on the Central market (Shares).

On the podium of the most active stocks are Cosumar with a transactional volume of 55.16 MDH, Itissalat Al-Maghrib (8.58 MDH), Attijariwafa Bank (7.93 MDH) and Label Vie (3.36 MDH).

Market capitalization amounted to more than 567.3 billion dirhams (MMDH).

At the individual level, the largest increases were achieved by Delattre Levivier Morocco (+6% to 38.19 dirhams (DH)), Cosumar (+5.99% to 191.85 DH), Jet Contractors (+5, 56% to 193.7 DH), Cih (+5% to 315 DH) and Delta Holding (+4% to 26 DH).

On the other hand, Salafin (-5.98% to 517.1 DH), Risma (-4.32% to 115.3 DH), Sanlam Morocco (-2.74% to 1,030 DH) and Disty Technologies (-2. 7% to 180 DH) and S. M Monétique (+3.99% to 193.95 DH), showed the largest declines.
