The Cartagena Hockey Club holds a sports day at the CEIP Virginia Pérez in El Algar

Inline hockey, by the hand of CHCartagena, was the protagonist during the morning of this Wednesday, January 1 at the CEIP Virginia Pérez in El Algar, an activity of the ADE program of the Department of Sports.

Primary school students had the opportunity to practice this sport led by Urtzi, coach of the CHCartagena senior team.

The practice with the schoolchildren took place in the municipal pavilion of El Algar, in groups, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Each session began with a prior introduction to the sport of inline hockey and its rules, then moving on to practical exercises, where all the students participated individually and in groups through driving and hitting the puck exercises.

At the end of each session, Urtzi handed out informative brochures regarding the Cartagena Hockey Club, encouraging students to visit the EGON sports center, the club headquarters and where the team trains, in order to practice and learn more regarding hockey in line.

The ADE Program is organized by the Sports Department of the Cartagena City Council.
