Porsche today took the cover off the first 911 GT3 RS Tribute to Carrera RS Package to hit the US. The special offer pays homage to one of the most iconic 911 models to be announced in 2022.
Porsche showed members of the media in person for the first time before an initial viewing opportunity for the public at Sebring International Raceway during the Sebring 12 Hours race from March 15-18.
Initial deliveries to customers will begin in just a few weeks.
“This package pays homage to the 911 Carrera RS 2.7, a car for absolute drivers and an icon,” said Kjell Gruner, President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America.
“Today, nothing embodies the idea of a driver’s car better than the new 911 GT3 RS. Like the original, it uses cutting-edge aerodynamics for incredible performance, making it a perfect homage to the 1973 legend.”
The Tribute to Carrera RS package includes unique styling elements for both the exterior and interior, a bespoke Porsche Design watch and various accessories created specifically for the car.
Those accessories focus on the details and include a custom car cover, RS valve stem covers with Python Green script, Python Green key caps, custom license plate frames and a couple of 1:43 scale model cars. ; one is the 1973 Carrera RS and the other a replica of the new car.
Specially colored Manufaktur-exclusive items exclusive to the package include Python Green painted magnesium wheels, Python Green mirror caps and GT3 RS side graphics.
PORSCHE script on the underside of the spoiler and a GT3 RS graphic on the rear bumper continue the theme, complete with a special RS logo on the American flag spoiler end plates.
The standard Weissach Package adds a significant amount of exposed carbon fiber to both the interior and exterior, as well as chassis components in the same material.
Customers can also choose to paint the hood and roof in body color at no additional cost while adding the exclusive performance benefits of the Weissach Package.
These include weight-saving magnesium wheels. The package also adds carbon fiber stabilizer bars, tie rods and a trim panel in the same material.
Several special interior modifications also set cars equipped with the package apart.
These include green offset stitching, illuminated door sill guards with “Tribute to Carrera RS” script, a center console lid etched with the “RS” logo, and white painted keys.
The 2023 911 GT3 RS equipped with the exclusive Tribute to Carrera RS package will have a total price of $312,550, not including a $1,450 delivery, processing and handling fee.

Porsche does not invite the Hispanic press in the United States, nor does it allow any Hispanic journalist to test its cars. According to Angus Fitton, the head of Porsche USA is because they don’t have enough cars for tests, nor space to add to their list of journalists. We do not want to comment on the subject.
