This extension of the Carcassonne shop on rue Courtejaire allows Aurélia, its manager, to enrich its proposals for Moroccan decorations and to add a jewelry space run by her brother.
The extension of the Carré d’Oré, the Carré d’Oré Showroom, was more than necessary for Aurélia the store manager. More and more requests from her customers and on her side more and more favorites for decorative objects too, gave rise to the idea of an expansion.
What do we find there? All types of Moroccan decorations that the young woman will choose each month in Marrakech: slippers, foutas, lighting, terracotta pottery, carpets, Berber artisanal basketry. For materials, straw, leather or wool for the most part. On site, on the other side of the Mediterranean, Aurélia deals directly with the locals, a chance for her to see them work and admire their know-how. “The former France leisure room located next door being vacant, it was ideal! I can now better exhibit, and in their entirety, all my decorations which are much better highlighted. Some objects and accessories were already present when I started, then the concept store evolved, ready-to-wear too, so I had to find a solution to present everything”, she explains. The Showroom has a jewelry space ”NALA Bijouterie”, managed by his brother Benjamin. They chose to share this location since the jewelry is in the spirit of the women’s concept store, with a similar clientele. Aurélia has a great young and dynamic team to date, made up of Aurélie on permanent contracts, as well as Marion and Inès who are on a work-study program. Reinforcement required with the imminent arrival of the Carré d’Oré website.
“I never thought one day of creating a website, but some of my clients who didn’t have time to spend the week suggested it to me many times and in the end it’s a great idea for the development of the shop and real comfort for ladies”, says the manager. The items for sale can also be found on the social networks Instagram and Facebook.
