The Carnot AgriFood Transition springboard obtains its Carnot Institute label | handles

With its partners from technical centers (Actalia, Adria, Ceva, IdMer, Pôle Cristal, Tecaliman, Vegenov and Zoopole Développement) and public research (Inserm, INRAe, ENSCR, University of Western Brittany, University of South Brittany, University of Rennes 1, University of Rennes 2), the ANSES Ploufragan Plouzané Niort laboratory contributed to the creation of the Carnot AgriFood Transition springboard 3 years ago. On the strength of its undeniable successes during these 3 springboard years, supported by the National Research Agency, the Brittany region, the Côtes d’Armor Department and the Agglomeration community of St Brieuc, the partners of AgriFood Transition wished to continue the common adventure by submitting their application during the MESRI’s Carnot 4 call for projects in September 2019. On February 7, 2020, the MESRI validated this application within the network of now 39 Carnot Institutes. The Institut Carnot label of excellence is intended to promote the rapprochement of actors in public research and the socio-economic world, in order to accelerate the transition from research to innovation and to increase the transfer of technologies to actors. economic. The partnership research activities of ANSES Ploufragan Plouzané Niort, resolutely geared towards the agro-ecological transition of livestock systems, will contribute to the success of this new Carnot institute.
