The National Registry of Civil Status published the card with which Colombians will elect the country’s next president and vice president in the second round on June 19.
This time the official document arrived with only three voting booths: Rodolfo Hernández and his vice-presidential formula Marelen Castillo are in the first; in the second place are Gustavo Petro and Francia Márquez, and in the third was the traditional blank vote.
The card will have a half letter size and will be on ecological paper. This is what it looks like:
The order, as detailed by the Registrar, was established in accordance with subsection 4, paragraph of article 6 of Law 163 of 1994, which establishes that, for the second round, “in the electoral card the formulas of the first two majorities will be understood to be drawn in the same order and with the same number as the first”.
This Thursday they also learned how the registration, pre-count and scrutiny forms will be.
“The E-14 form has the same characteristics established in the guarantee plan, agreed with the political groups. The boxes will be bigger and will have the photo of the candidates in color”assured the Registrar.
