The Future Games Show was an opportunity for many studios to unveil new games. Among them, we find the surprising RESISTOR, a CaR-PG developed by Long Way Home.
When Burnout meets SSX!
The game takes place in an open world in the year 2060 and is described as the meeting between Burnout and SSX. It features races “full of stunts and frantic vehicular combat” as well as one with an expanded narrative.
You must lead your team to success, and developing the affinities between your pilots will notably unlock bonuses to help you win even more races and triumph over the corporations that rule the world.
The game doesn’t have a release date yet, but is planned for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch, and we can’t wait to hear more. Below is its announcement trailer, along with a video from the studio explaining the game’s concept.
