Nagpur: A car is three-quarter submerged in a raging river. The hand that pleads for salvation from it. The crowd is just spectators. These shocking scenes have come out from Nagpur, Maharashtra. While trying to cross the bridge without handrails, the car plunged into the river when the water suddenly rose.
The police said that three people including a woman died in the accident and three people are missing. Eight people were in the SUV. Two people escaped before being swept away. The police said that the bodies of three people were found.
The accident victims were from Multai in Madhya Pradesh. They came to Nagpur for the wedding celebration. Roshni Chowkidar (32), Darsh Chowkidar (10), Lidar Hiware (38), Madhukar Patil (65), Nirmala (60) and Neemu Atner (45) died in the accident, police said.
