The identities of the four alleged perpetrators of the kidnapping of Luis Manuel Díaz, father of Colombian soccer player Luis Díaz, were revealed by the National Police and the Prosecutor’s Office. According to this last entity, those captured identify themselves with the aliases of Marlon, El Negro and Arenca.

According to the entity, the evidence shows that the accused would be involved in the planning and logistics of the kidnapping of the soccer player’s parents.

“Apparently, they carried out surveillance and monitoring to know the movements of the victims and establish the way in which they would be deceived and subsequently kidnapped,” said the Prosecutor’s Office.

General Salamanca confirmed that these people commit crimes through a figure called ‘Criminal Outsourcing’ and the Prosecutor’s Office assured that the investigation shows the possible links that existed between those captured and the ELN.

Regarding alias Andrys, the Police highlighted that he is the main leader of the organization known as Los Primos, which carries out criminal activities in coordination with the ELN.

This subject is a trusted man of alias Patricia, a member of the General Staff of the Northern War Front, and alias Octavio, head of the finance commission of this guerrilla structure.

According to the investigations carried out, Andrys Alcides Bolívar Bolívar was the main promoter of the criminal observation activities that allowed the kidnapping of Luis Manuel Díaz to materialize.

“He is in charge of guiding its members in criminal observation and logistical coordination for carrying out the kidnappings and subsequent delivery of the kidnapped people to members of the ELN,” the authorities stated.
