The canton of Neuchâtel is launching the deepening of its digitization process. A “participatory” approach, via a questionnaire, is advocated to materialize one of the strong themes of the current legislature.
The State wants to bring “human, inclusive and secure” digitization for the cantonal administration, municipalities, businesses and citizens, indicates the canton’s press release. The idea aims to reflect on a societal issue and not just a technological one.
It will be a question of defining a strategy by the end of 2022. In particular, it will be necessary to integrate what already exists, such as the one-stop shop introduced in 2005 already, an instrument which offers a whole series of services to citizens.
Opportunities and fears
The canton intends to identify visions, opportunities as well as fears and risks. This is why the population of Neuchâtel and the many partners will be surveyed during the summer, via a consultation via a questionnaire available online.
The deepening of digitalization is one of the four ambitions of state action by 2025.
