The Camerata Argentina presents a series of popular music with Jairo and other renowned artists | Buenos Aires City

Neighbors and tourists will be able to enjoy this proposal on Friday the 2nd, Saturday the 3rd and Sunday the 4th February at 8 p.m. at the Parque Centenario Amphitheater (Leopoldo Marechal and Av. Lillo) with free entry until the venue’s capacity is exhausted.

The Camerata Argentina is a didactic-musical project that seeks to disseminate the work of Argentine composers and promote exchange between musicians. With this objective, Pablo Agri, director and musician of the group, began to offer classes in different parts of the country. Among the artists who participated in the project were Gustavo Beytelmann, Susana Rinaldi, Juan Esteban Cuacci, Leonardo Sánchez, Nicolás Ledesma, Horacio Romo and Cristian Zárate.

It is friday 2 Presents itself Jairo, Argentine singer-songwriter distinguished for composing songs with Yves Simón, Louis Amade, Facundo Cabral, etc. He is also recognized for his music based on poems by Jorge Luis Borges, Mario Benedetti and Paul Eluard.

He Saturday 3 It will be the turn of the presentation of the Vera Sisters who are singers, composers and the only female Argentine folklore duo with almost 50 years of experience. They were the promoters of inviting artists from other genres to the National Chamamé Festival: Patricia Sosa, Valeria Lynch, Marcela Morelo, Bahiano and Los Cafres, among others. On this occasion the duo will be directed by Popi Spatocco along with Pablo Agri.

The last date of the cycle will be domingo 4 and will have as guest artist the great Nestor Marconi, bandoneonist, arranger, composer and orchestrator who has composed music for film and television. Since 2008 he is one of the directors of the Buenos Aires Tango Orchestrawith which he won the Latin Grammy for best tango album for the album Tribute to Ástor Piazzolla and in 2016 the Carlos Gardel Award for Best Instrumental Orchestra Album. He also received two nominations for the 2011 Latin Grammys for his work. 30 years and Tribute to Cátulo Castillo and Aníbal Troilo.
