Crédit Agricole du Maroc (CAM) has received the certification label from the French Institute of Internal Audit (IFACI) attesting to the compliance of the bank’s internal audit processes with international standards and its continuous alignment with the best practices in this area during the “Internal Audit Meetings” organized by IFACI, in collaboration with the Institute of Internal Audit (IIA) – Morocco in Rabat on September 21, 2022.
This conference, which brought together participants from several public and private organizations in Morocco, was an opportunity to discuss the main developments expected in the International Standards on Internal Auditing and whose official publication will take place in 2024, indicates the CAM in a statement.
It was also the occasion for the delivery of IFACI certificates in favor of organizations whose “Internal Audit” functions have been certified by the French body, adds the same source. As a reminder, the certification of CAM’s internal audit processes was pronounced at the end of a certification mission carried out by the IFACI, and which continued through the organization of a “visit of progress” crowned by maintaining certification in favor of Crédit Agricole du Maroc.
It should be noted that the certification in question was carried out with regard to the Professional Internal Audit Framework (RPAI), version 2020, comprising a total of 100 detailed requirements spread over 5 pillars (Positioning, Steering, Audit Process, Professionalism , GRC Assessment process).
