Within the framework of the National Program for University Infrastructure Phase IV, a call for public tenders was made for the work of classrooms and laboratories for the Hospital School of Veterinary Medicine of the Faculty of Bromatology of the National University of Entre Ríos (UNER) in Gualeguaychú.
The measure was published in the Official Gazette of the Nation. It contemplates an official budget of 478,425,009.15 pesos (at November 2022 values), and has an execution period of 540 days.
Offers from interested companies may be submitted until March 23, when envelopes are opened.
The work responds to the need for spaces for the development of academic and research activities, as well as professional practices of the house of higher studies. It contemplates the construction of four functional blocks that will constitute a first level educational environment and will be linked to existing sectors.
Specifically, classrooms and laboratories will be built that will form part of the hospital, which will be the first of its kind in the province. As pointed out by the UNER, the project has three pavilions around a small central dry square as a binding and recreational space for students. While a fourth pavilion will become a small multipurpose room and conference room.
The property is located in the Educational Pole of Gualeguaychú; It extends over 9,000 square meters, of which 1,632 will be covered and 7,450 will be landscaped spaces in the open air, necessary for the development of laboratory practices.
The National University Infrastructure Program belongs to the Ministry of Public Works, in coordination with the Ministry of Education of the Nation. Under this plan, new constructions, extensions and spare parts for the national university system are carried out. The UNER is one of the 12 national universities that were benefited in this stage, whose total investment will be 5,000 million pesos, to be distributed among the different entities reached.
