Day bCALF fundraising campaign will not take to the streets yet and the next billing only It will have the values for electricity and the increases expected for the consumption of residential and commercial users. This was confirmed by members of the CALF Board of Directors, when asked about when the changes in billing for 2024 will apply.

CALF is authorized to include three new items in each user’s ballot that until December never appeared: the fee for the transfer of the Neuquén Environmental Complex (CAN), the residential, business or commercial fee for the debt that CALF has with Cammesa and the billing of the EPAS for water consumption.

Of the three items, the charge for water consumption will not apply yet because it depends on an agreement that has yet to be signed between CALF and the EPAS. The other two items, They add up to about 5,200 pesos in the case of capital residents who have a pillar: 3,114 pesos for the “ecotasa” and 2,047 for the first installment ( values for residential consumption) of CALF’s debt with Cammesa. Fees will be charged for the debt resettable every 6 months, for 8 years.

“Lakeoposition of the ballot is the spring of the granting power, of the municipalityad, we have not talked about that” it was reported from the Board of Directors.
The inclusion of the debt on the ballot arose in the Deliberative after an agreement signed in May between CALF and the municipality.
When it was decided that CALF could be a withholding agent, it was analyzed to collect other fees in the same way: such as the ecotax and the amount for the water bill, that does not have good collection through the EPAS.

“There was some exchange about how it was going to be carried out, but there was nothing. Regarding the addition of the EPAS and the ecotax, we have no indications, we found out from the media,” he stated. It was immediately clarified that “it is the municipality that shapes the invoice, which item it includes or does not include. We do what the granting power tells us,” it was indicated.

In December there were several injunctions that sought to stop the implementation of the CALF collection ballot. The first two did not prosper and The third proposal was a legal action against CALF so that it did not add the items to the ballot, not against the ordinance. This appeal, which was admitted, does not have the amparo modality and it is possible that the file It will be activated when the judicial fair ends, in February.

Eve of cooperative elections

The legal action against the inclusion of the items for 5,200 pesos (until now, without the EPAS charges) was promoted byr self-convened groups that are opponents of the current leadership and who seek, unsuccessfully, to participate in the elections.

He January 21 will be the delegate elections (92 regulars and 92 substitutes), which in turn, when they meet in assembly, They define who will occupy the 4 expired positions of the 12 directors that make up the Board of Directors.

In last year’s election of delegates, the only opposition list that presented papers was left out of the election because it lacked the acceptance of two positions and was left as an incomplete list. By 2024, one of the lists that will seek to go against the Celeste and Blanca (driving) requested a postponement of the call because they must gather more than 900 endorsements before a notary. a requirement that if not met, they will not be able to compete.

There are two other lists, but they had not collected the documentation to present endorsements and candidatures until Friday. The deadline for submitting documentation to the Board of Directors will expire on the 10th. The lists must be made up of 50% of each gender.
