sideMr. Kobchai Sangsittisawad Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Industry as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cane and Sugar He added that in this project, the BAAC issued low-interest loans at a rate of 2% per annum to sugarcane farmers, with a credit line of 2,000 million baht per year, for a period of three years, from 2022 to 2024, totaling 6,000 million baht, which The Cabinet has approved the framework of the interest compensation budget for the BAAC in the amount of 789.75 million baht. The details of the project are as follows.
1. Borrow money to develop water resources Water management in sugarcane fields and adjust the areasugarcane planting Not more than 500,000 baht per person
2. Borrow money to purchase agricultural machinery such as carscut sugar cane Not more than 15 million baht per person
3. Borrow money to buy trucks and tow trucks. Repayment is completed in no more than 8 years. Borrower pays interest at a fixed rate of 4% per annum.
