The Casablanca Stock Exchange closed the week from April 25 to 29, 2022 down, its main index, the Masi, dropping 0.25% to 13,136.65 points.

The Morocco Stock Index 20 (MSI20), which reflects the price performance of the 20 most liquid companies, lost 0.33% to 1,064.51 points and the Casablanca ESG 10, the Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) benchmark index. , fell 0.10% to 988.73 points.

At the end of this week, 13 sector indices closed on a negative note, once morest 9 in negative territory, while only the “Telecommunications” sector showed no variation.

The real estate index (+4.08%) showed the strongest decline, followed by those of “Distribution” (-3.02%) and “Transport Services” (-2.13%) .

On the rise, the sector index of “Leisure and Hotels” (+8.40%) recorded the best weekly performance, ahead of “Chemicals” (+3.73%) and Transport (+2.38%) .

The overall volume amounted to more than 490.53 million dirhams (MDH). On the podium of the most active stocks are Alliances with a transactional volume of 61.37 MDH, Sodep-Marsa Maroc (60.51 MDH) and LafargeHolcim Maroc (47.94 MDH).

Market capitalization exceeded 685 billion dirhams (MMDH).

On the value side, the biggest drops of the week were recorded by Douja Prom Addoha (-7.64% to 8.10 DH), Involys (-5.26% to 104 DH), Delattre Levivier Morocco (-4.88 % to 67 DH), Residences Dar Saada (-4.51% to 27.30) and Auto Hall (-4.29% to 89 DH)

On the other hand, the best performances were the work of CDM (+8.75% at 706.9 DH), Timar (+8.59% at 175 DH), Rimsa (+8.40% at 120 DH ), Zellidja SA (+3.99% to 83.19 DH) and Maghrebail (+3.97% to 865 DH).
