This Sunday the businessman Henrique Machado Zuloaga died at 92 years of age, father of the leader María Corina Machado.

The information was released by the Vente Venezuela party, of which his daughter is the national coordinator.

They also sent condolences to his wife Corina, as well as their daughters and grandchildren.

From the Twitter account of the Democratic Unitary Platform they also showed their regret. “We send our condolences and solidarity to María Corina, family and friends. Peace to her remains.”

Who was?

Machado Zuloaga was born in Caracas, the youngest son of Ana Teresa Zuloaga Blanco and Oscar Augusto Machado Hernández.

He graduated from high school at the Liceo Fermín Toro at the age of 17, at the age of 23 he graduated from the Central University of Venezuela in Civil Engineering, at the age of 30 he graduated from the University of Paris in Planning studies.

Later, at the age of 31, he graduated from the London School of Economics, with a specialization in Economics, and at the age of 31, he began working at the Venezuelan Steel Company (Sivensa), which he became its president.

Sivensa is a private company and it is the largest steel producer in the country following Sidor.

Relatives say that he had the phrase “family, work and life” as his motto and defined himself as a “patient” person. On the occasion of his 90th birthday, he said: “Time is relative, that’s why this patient man is more than 90 years young.”

He was the husband of Corina Parisca de Machado, and the father of María Corina Machado Parisca, Mariana Machado Parisca de Tovar, Ana Teresa Machado Parisca de Alvarez and Clara Luisa Machado Parisca de Colonelli.
