Volodymyr Podolyak, the brother of the adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak, who served in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Russian Federation, died in Russia.

In 2021, political scientist Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the OP Andriy Yermak, admitted that his brother was “a long-time ordinary military pensioner” and had been living in Russia “since 1986 or 1987.” According to him, he hardly maintained relations with his brother Mykhailo Podolyak.
