Al-Marsad newspaper: One of those affected by a fraud by promoting Snapchat celebrities to selling fake properties in Dubai said: “The broker took our money and disappeared, and the real estate developer started threatening us with withdrawing the units.”

The victim added, during his appearance on the Ya Hala program, that things were not clear at first, but the truth appeared following the return of air traffic and travel once more, as the second face of the broker and real estate developer.

And he continued: “Everyone ate us, this took our money and was displaced, and the second kept threatening daily notifications, most of the money was transferred to the real estate developer, and we have bonds, and the developer was paying him dues in easy installments.”

He continued: “The broker said that the unit is half a million riyals, with the rest of the rent being paid later, and the developer does not know that because the unit price is one million riyals, and he wants the rest of the dues, all of them agree with each other.”

He concluded his speech: “We handed over the evidence to the Dubai Land Authority, and the Public Prosecution there, and the case is still under supervision.”
