The brilliant cast of “Pulp Fiction” reunited at the opening of the TCM Classic Film Festival, which kicked off with a tribute to the film on its 30th anniversary
A high-flying reunion. This Thursday, the leading actors of Pulp Fiction met on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the film, an anniversary celebrated for the opening of the TCM Classic Film Festival, reports Deadline.
For the occasion, Uma Thurman, John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson and Harvey Keitel all struck a pose, to the delight of fans. Other actors appearing in Quentin Tarantino’s feature film were also present, like Rosanna Arquette, Eric Stoltz and Julia Sweeney.
A festival dedicated to bloody films
The festival, which runs until April 21, has the theme this year of “Most Wanted, Crime and Justice in Film”. The opening was therefore dedicated to Pulp Fiction, with as an introduction a round table of the four main actors. Other feature films will be highlighted during the event, such as Chinatown, In cold blood, Inspector Harry or A dog followingnoon.
Released in 1994, Pulp Fiction has left its mark on several generations of moviegoers and has established itself as a true reference on the big screen. Quentin Tarantino’s film received the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival the year it was released, and an Oscar for best screenplay the following year.
