Huawei is preparing for CES 2024 by announcing its latest Huawei MateBook D16 in advance. Less than a version that differentiates itself from the others, it is more of a renewal of this laptop.

From January 9 to 12, 2024, the CES in Las Vegas will take place, the high mass of new technologies. PC manufacturers are particularly present there, or are joining the event. Just before, on January 8, Huawei will market (for pre-orders) the new Huawei MateBook D16.
A laptop to take everywhere
This model is of type “ notebook », which means that it is intended to be taken almost everywhere with a format intended to be lightweight. Here, count on 1.68 kg, which allows you to carry it in a bag without feeling it too much. For the thickness, it is 17 mm.

However, the Huawei MateBook D16 is equipped with a 16-inch screen, with a screen-to-body ratio of up to 90%. This screen can be rotated up to 180°, in order to lay the screen flat on a table. On the keyboard side, the key travel is 1.5 mm with progressive damping on certain models. The numeric keypad is still there: the advantage of a 16-inch screen is also being able to integrate one.
The latest Intel Core processor comes to the Huawei MateBook D16
The main new feature of this laptop is its processor. Huawei upgrades to the thirteenth generation Intel Core i9. This is somewhat of a shame, since the fourteenth generation of the founder was announced last October. To cool it, “ dual-fin fan technology » is added on the machine. The autonomy also improves on this Huawei PC, since the battery goes from 60 Wh to 70 Wh.

The Huawei MateBook D16 (2024) will be launched for pre-orders from January 8, 2024 at a price of 1,399.99 euros. This version has the Intel Core i9-13900H, 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage.
