“The Box”: a compact but effective formula
“The Box” of Sosh is the equipment of Orange with a few less services, to pull prices down and position yourself in the cheap box category: 20.99€/month only, throughout the first year of promotion (the subscription then increases to €30.99/month). The package is sans engagement, there are no activation costs to be expected, but you can claim a €100 reimbursement of the termination costs from your former ISP.
Regarding the formula, the biggest renunciation is the decoder. “The Box” from Sosh is a dual-play offer (understand Telephony + Internet), and by leaving the choice of the optional decoder at 5€, we remain free to watch TV differently. How to watch TV without a box?
The second renunciation is the unlimited telephony to mobiles, also offered as an option at €5/month. But once more, it is easy to fall back on instant messaging apps, or video calls. Or on the mobile subscription of your laptop?
The box in detail
The formula therefore provides fiber, clamped at 300 Mb/s, both download and transfer. Connection by a technician is free.
The equipment provided is an Orange Livebox 5, with intelligent dual-band Wi-Fi, to distribute the speed nimbly throughout the house, avoiding bugs and slowdowns.
Sosh borrows a dedicated application from its big brother, to install it at best: My Livebox. The application also allows you to program the hours of operation of the Wi-Fi, or to control the access to the Internet of the children.
And for telephony, it’s simple: calls to landlines are unlimited, whether you call in France or abroad, to more than 110 eligible destinations.
