The Boston Celtics take on Malcolm Brogdon

Indiana Pacers and Boston Celtics have reached an agreement for the transfer of Malcolm Brogdon according to Adrian Wojnarowski. In exchange, the Pacers receive Daniel Theis, Aaron Neismith, Nik Stauskas, Malik Fitts, Juwan Morgan and a first-round pick in 2023. In this way, Ime Udoka’s men significantly reinforce a point guard position with which they have been suffering in times recent. The former Pacers player has three years remaining on his contract at an average of 22.5 million dollars per year.

Brogdon’s departure from Indiana was practically a given after the franchise obtained Tyrese Haliburton in the last market close and Bennedict Mathurin in the draft. The transfer cannot be officially carried out until July 9 due to the requirements of Juwan Morgan’s contract.
